SJC are a leading manufacturer of steel covered Plantstakes, the long-lasting alternative to bamboo. SJC Plantstakes have a steel core for strength and are coated with PE resin for durability. They can be used for supporting plants, flowers, trees and they will even encourage growth of vegetables, like tomatoes, beans, etc. For agricultural purposes, SJC stakes are also used as a durable alternative to bamboo or wood, e.g. for supporting fruit trees, in nurseries, vineyards, etc. SJC Plantstakes will not crack and the stakes will keep the same appearance year after year.
An environmentally friendly plastic coating, UV treated for extra long lifetime. The coating can be exposed to extreme weather conditions, hot and cold temperatures: it will not crack or lose its protective characteristics.
The tops are hermetically sealed. No water can enter the Plantstakes, no rust can form and they cannot rot in the ground. Plantstakes cannot harm plants, unlike natural plant support, where humidity can enter and mould or rot could infect plants and trees.
Special surface spurs offer extra grip for young plants or shoots. They will encourage plant growth.
One end of the stake is pointed for easy insertion into the ground.
